Refunds and cancelling

By Eduardo Orellana · Updated

Flockbay is free, and so is its AI: every account gets free AI each day on the hosted model, called Demo. When the free usage for the day runs out, it comes back the next day. You can also build on your Claude plan (Pro or Max) or your ChatGPT account (any plan, Free included) in the app, your own agent over MCP, or your own API key, and you pay the company that runs your model, never Flockbay. The download, the editor, Play and export are free. Pictures and sound run on the free AI. A 3D model uses your own Tripo key. Flockbay has no paid plans. Windows today. The engine is the official Godot release. The download is free, and so is building on your own AI, Flockbay has no paid plans. If a plan is already on the account, here is how cancelling works and what to do if a charge looks wrong.

Nothing to pay

Flockbay is free to download for Windows, and the AI is free: Demo each day, or your Claude or ChatGPT plan, your own agent, or an API key. Nothing about the engine, the builder or the manual controls is held back. Flockbay has no paid plans.

That order matters for refunds. The best way to avoid wanting one is to build on your own AI first and find out whether the tool suits how you work. It is a desktop app that needs an internet connection to build with, it runs your game locally on Godot, and it does not run in a browser. If any of that is a problem, you will discover it before money is involved.

If a plan is already on the account

Flockbay has no paid plans to start. If a plan is already on the account, it is a monthly subscription rather than a licence bought once, and it renews until you stop it.

There is no team plan, no per-seat pricing and no enterprise tier, so there is no contract to unwind. It is one person on one desktop app.

Cancelling stops the next payment, and a plan already paid for runs to the end of the month. You do not lose your work by cancelling: your project is a Godot project in a folder on your own disk, and you keep building free.

If a charge looks wrong

Write to ed@flockbay.com. That covers a payment you did not expect, a charge after you thought you had cancelled, or a plan already on the account that did not work.

Include what happened and roughly when, because that lets us look at the actual account rather than guess. We would rather sort out a specific problem than argue about a policy line.

What your own AI costs is between you and its company

On your own AI, the AI you connect is paid for where you already pay for it: your Claude or ChatGPT plan, your API account, or whatever your own agent runs on. Flockbay does not charge for any of it, so a question about one of those charges goes to that company.

More on this: Flockbay is free on your own AI: you pay the company that runs your model, and Flockbay nothing.

Questions

How do I cancel?
From Billing, in your account on flockbay.com. Cancelling stops the next payment; nothing is deleted from your disk.
Do I lose my projects if I cancel?
No. Projects are standard Godot projects stored on your own machine, and you can keep building free on your own AI.
Can I switch plans?
Flockbay has no paid plans to switch to. If a plan is already on the account, Billing is where you cancel it. Cancelling stops the next payment.
Who do I contact about billing?
Write to ed@flockbay.com with what happened and roughly when, and we will look at the account.
