How much does Flockbay cost?

Nothing. Flockbay is free, and so is its AI: every account gets free AI each day on Flockbay's hosted model. You can also build on your Claude plan (Pro or Max) or your ChatGPT account (any plan, Free included) in the app, your own agent over MCP, or your own API key, and you pay the company that runs your model, never Flockbay. Flockbay has no paid plans. Flockbay is free: the download, the editor, Flockbay's tools, Play and the AI. Every account gets free AI each day on Flockbay's hosted model, called Demo in the model menu; when the day's free usage runs out, it comes back the next day. You can also build on your Claude Pro or Max plan or your ChatGPT account, on any plan, in the app, your own agent over MCP (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor), or your own OpenAI or Anthropic API key. Generated pictures and sound come with the free AI; 3D models run on your own Tripo key. Flockbay has no paid plans. There is no browser editor, no cloud building, and no team or per-seat plan.

Your AI, which is Claude or ChatGPT in Flockbay's chat or your own agent over MCP, writes GDScript and scenes into your Godot project. It calls Flockbay's world tools for terrain, water, sky, weather, the player controller and props, builds rigged 3D models with the modeler, and playtests the game: a headless run, stdout and parse errors, viewport capture, input events and the live scene tree. You judge the result by playing it.

Windows first: the current release runs on 64-bit Windows with an Intel or AMD processor, and the Mac release follows later. There is no web version, no browser editor, no browser preview, and no mobile app.

Your AI does, and you can: it writes the GDScript into a real Godot 4 project, and Flockbay hosts the full Godot editor, Script editor included, beside the chat. You can open, read and change every file there, in stock Godot or in your own code editor.

Output is a normal Godot project in a normal folder on local disk. Games run locally on the copy of Godot bundled with the app. No streaming, no cloud rendering, no cloud building.

On your own keys, pictures run on a key you add, audio generation on ElevenLabs, and 3D models on Tripo. The modeler builds rigged 3D models on your computer and needs no key. Without a key, Flockbay builds from a library of ready-made objects, or with Godot's own shapes.
